On 8th March 2022, King & Capital Law Firm organised the "Goddess Day: for the most special you" exclusive flower basket making activity, and all the lawyers felt the warmth of spring with the help of flowers.

 

 

At the beginning of the activity, a professional floral art teacher explained the process of making the flower basket. This time, we mainly used carnations, peonies, chrysanthemums, forget-me-nots and hyacinths. For the flower basket, you need to trim the stems a little shorter, so that the paper bag covers the stems, only the flowers are exposed on the outside, and the flowers are arranged in a cluster, so as to make the basket look full and rich.

 

 

Before arranging the flowers, we will do the process of waking up the flowers, using our fingertips to find the calyx of the flower, gently break the calyx outwards, but we need to be careful not to break it, and then gently rubbing our hands from the centre of the flower outwards layer by layer, so that the petals will gradually unfold and achieve the effect of blooming.

 

 

Put cellophane under the soaked flower clay and put it into a paper bag, then cut the cellophane above the bag with scissors, and the prep work is finally done. Next, the carnations and peonies were cut short, and then inserted into the flower clay at a 45 degree angle to form a surface. Afterwards, forget-me-nots, chrysanthemums and hyacinths were inserted as embellishments to give a final clustered look, and the flower basket was completed. The lawyers gave full play to their creativity, freely imagined and created a unique personalised flower basket.
