Recently, Ms. Liu Ling, Senior Partner of King&Capital Law Firm, was invited by Beijing Municipal Legal Aid Center to participate in the 2022 Legal Aid Work Summarization and Case Quality Improvement Business Training Meeting of Beijing Municipal Legal Aid Center, and gave lectures to the lawyers and related personnel of more than sixty law firms participating in legal aid in Beijing.

With the theme of "How Legal Aid Lawyers Handle Criminal Legal Aid Cases" and in conjunction with the "National Norms for Criminal Legal Aid Services" and "Rules for Peer Evaluation of the Quality of Criminal Legal Aid Cases", Ms. Liu Ling lectured on criminal defense skills and precautions in nine aspects, including meeting with the client, reviewing the file, preparing for the trial, participating in the trial, and writing the defense documents.

Liu Ling has been engaged in criminal defense work for a long time and has rich experience in handling cases and the theoretical foundation of jurisprudence. She has been employed as an expert of the Ministry of Justice in the assessment of criminal legal aid cases since 2019, and has participated in the assessment of criminal cases of national legal aid for several years in a row, and has participated in the assessment of more than 1,000 legal aid cases sampled across the country. At the same time, Ms. Liu Ling studied the assessment rules, sorted out the common problems in criminal legal aid cases, wrote several papers and commentary articles, and also helped legal aid lawyers improve the quality of their cases through lectures.
