From December 21 to 23, 2022, the China Democratic League (CDL) held its 13th National Congress, which elected a new Central Committee consisting of 275 members. Liu Ming attended the congress and was elected as a member of the Central Committee of the CDL.
On January 10, 2023, the 13th Chairman's Office Meeting of the Central Committee of the CNDL decided to appoint Liu Ming as Deputy Director of the Legal Committee of the CNDL.
