In April 2023, in order to safeguard her legitimate rights and interests, Yang Zi filed a lawsuit with Xia Moumou as the defendant and entrusted Beijing King&Capital Law Firm's lawyers Chang Sha and Chen Shunli to represent her in the case. Eventually, the court found that Xia Moumou had the malicious intent of insulting Yang Zi, and the content of the microblogging in question demeaned Yang Zi's personality dignity, which was enough to cause her social evaluation to be lowered. Xia's behavior has constituted an infringement of Yang Zi's right to reputation, and should bear the corresponding legal responsibility. (Click to view related case notification)
