On April 27, King&Capital Law Firm senior partner Nie Sufang, senior partner Niu Xingli, partner Xiang Shujing, Zhu Kun, as well as Beijing Changping District People's Procuratorate prosecutor He Yang, Lu Ying prosecutor was invited to participate in the eleventh “King&Capital Cup” criminal moot court competition third round of points competition, organized by the practice department of Criminal Justice College of the University of Political Science and Law of China. “Criminal Moot Court Competition, organized by the Practice Department of the Student Union of the School of Criminal Justice of China University of Political Science and Law. During the two main rounds in the evening, several lawyers and prosecutors formed a collegial panel to guide and comment on the competition.


Before the match, several lawyers from King&Capital Law Firm and two prosecutors arrived at the site of the match in advance to have a full understanding of the basic case and the system of the match.


After the official start of the competition, it went through five parts: “Prosecution and Defense”, “Proof and Questioning”, “Argument in Court”, “Summary of the Trial” and “Closing Statements”. “The final statement” five parts. In the course of the competition, several lawyers and prosecutors gave guidance to the contestants on the techniques of proof and examination as well as the methods of trial summarization.

After the adjournment of the court, three members of the panel retired from the court, for the performance of the contestants, according to the scoring standards, respectively, the prosecution and the defense team for detailed scoring. Afterwards, the performance of each team was discussed collectively, and the scoresheet was synthesized, and the winning team and the best defender were finally evaluated.

In the final guest commentary, several lawyers and prosecutors commented on the performance of prosecutors, defenders, witnesses and defendants, and gave suggestions and guidance on court etiquette, court language and other details of the trial. Several lawyers and prosecutors also provided detailed answers to the doubts raised by the contestants.



After the above session, several lawyers and prosecutors took a group photo with the contestants.

At this point, the 11th “King&Capital Cup” Criminal Mock Trial Competition, the third round of points competition was successfully completed.
