On April 28, 2024, Mr. Liu Lijie, senior partner of King&Capital Law Firm, was invited to China University of Political Science and Law to give a series of lectures on “Trial Practice” to the students of the University with the topic of “Trial Practice and Problem Response”. The lecture not only enriched the students' knowledge of legal practice, but also enhanced their understanding and practical application of trial skills.

Mr. Liu Lijie, with his profound experience in trial practice and rich experience in practicing law, analyzed the core issues and coping strategies in trial practice for the students. Combined with vivid cases and practical experience, Mr. Liu Lijie explained in detail the purpose of trial, the importance of pre-trial preparation, the key nodes of the trial process, as well as the common problems that may be encountered in the trial process and ways to cope with them. Under the guidance of Liu Lijie lawyers and teachers, students were divided into trial group, prosecution group, defense group, the defendant and other roles, combined with the content of Liu's lectures to simulate exercises, and the problems arising in the exercise were reviewed collectively, to achieve the purpose of recognizing practice, simulation practice, understanding practice, thinking practice.

As a former student of China University of Political Science and Law, Mr. Liu Lijie has long been actively involved in the teaching and practice work of his alma mater, and has been appointed as a practice tutor of China University of Political Science and Law and the School of Criminal Justice, and a researcher of the Research Base of Corporate Compliance Prosecution and the Research Center for Innovative Development of Criminal Defense, and has strengthened the exchange and cooperation between King&Capital Law Firm and China University of Political Science and Law through donations, lectures, and liaison with practice bases to advance the innovation and development of legal education.
