On 22 January 2025, the end of the year, King&Capital Law Firm (hereinafter referred to as ‘King&Capital’) once again received a letter of appreciation from the Department of Complaints and Prosecution of the Supreme People's Procuratorate (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Tenth Department of the Supreme People's Procuratorate’).
This is the fourth time that King&Capital has received a letter of appreciation from the Tenth Department of the Supreme People's Procuratorate.
The letter mentioned: ‘In the past year, with a strong sense of social responsibility and mission, your firm assigned lawyers with high political quality, excellent legal knowledge and strong ability in mass work to actively participate in the reception of letters and visits by the Supreme Prosecutor's Office, procuratorial hearings, and representation of public interest lawyers in complaint cases, and gave strong support and selfless help to our office. Your assigned 18 times lawyers with pragmatic work style, patient and meticulous work attitude, a total of 115 times to participate in the public welfare duty to receive visits to the masses, get the high praise of the visiting public.’
In the past three years, King&Capital more than 100 lawyers actively engaged in the cause of public welfare legal services, including the Ministry of Justice death penalty review cases, the Supreme People's Procuratorate criminal complaint cases, including a total of more than 200 legal aid cases, involved in the Tenth Department of the Supreme Procuratorate, Beijing 12348 hotline platform, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Letters and Calls, Chaoyang District Legal Aid Centre and other legal aid on duty for more than 500 days, and has obtained the Supreme Procuratorate In October 2023, King&Capital was selected by the Ministry of Justice as one of the eight law firms that undertook the ‘1 to 1’ twinning assistance project and became one of the eight law firms that undertook the training course for the capital's lawyers in the East, Central and West regions in the year 2024, and actively assisted in the development of the law firms. Kyoto Law Firm is one of the eight law firms that have undertaken the task of training for the 2024 training programme of the East, Central and West China Lawyer Industry.
