On the afternoon of June 17, Xu Yang, Party Secretary of the Law School of Beijing Technology and Business University, Chen Dun, Dean of the Law School, Hu Bingzi, Vice Dean of the Law School, Li Zilong, Assistant Dean of the Law School, together with Du Yazheng, Chairman of the China Food Additives and Ingredients Association, Ma Litian, Vice Chairman of the China Food Additives and Ingredients Association, and others, visited King&Capital Law Firm in Beijing for an exchange visit. Chu Changzhi, managing partner and CEO of King&Capital Law Firm, and Tang Jianbin, senior partner of King&Capital Law Firm and director of the King&Capital Food and Drug Law Research Center, warmly received the visiting guests and introduced the development overview of King&Capital Law Firm. Tang Jianbin presided over the meeting and delivered a welcome speech.

At the exchange meeting, Chairman Du Yazheng said that the food additive industry is an important entity industry related to the national economy and people's livelihood. He hoped to build a comprehensive platform connecting government regulatory departments, industry associations, manufacturing enterprises, and university research institutions with King&Capital and the King&Capital Food and Drug Law Research Center, and to systematically solve industry pain points, clarify misunderstandings, and promote the healthy and standardized development of the industry from multiple dimensions such as standard setting, legal research, and talent cultivation.

Chu Changzhi, managing partner and CEO of King&Capital Law Firm, warmly welcomed the delegation from Beijing Technology and Business University and the China Food Additives and Ingredients Association, and took the opportunity to introduce the basic situation of King&Capital. Chu Changzhi said that for a long time, King&Capital Law Firm has emphasized professional division of labor and cross-departmental team collaboration, creating a development environment for lawyers to focus on their own professional development with an innovative management mechanism. On the occasion of the firm's 30th anniversary, he expressed hope that this exchange would strengthen ties with academic institutions, enabling both parties to collaborate in specialized legal fields such as food and drug law and contribute jointly to the field.

Xu Yang, secretary of the Law School of Beijing Technology and Business University, and Chen Dun, dean of the Law School, introduced the forward-looking achievements in the construction of interdisciplinary food safety law, and said that this exchange was a good start for the Law School of Beijing Technology and Business University to establish a deeper cooperative relationship with King&Capital and the King&Capital Food and Drug Law Research Center. They look forward to fruitful results in talent cultivation, case studies, and joint construction of disciplines in the future. Vice Dean Hu Bingzi introduced the school's newly launched “Food Safety and Cosmetics Legal Regulation” course, which is supported by practical experts such as lawyers Tang Jianbin and Zhang Sijia from the King&Capital Institute, and whose practical case teaching is popular with students. Additionally, Vice Dean Hu Bingzi shared her background in international law (PhD in American Law, nearly 10 years of experience as a federal court litigator) and her experience handling food and drug cases in the United States. She proposed future collaboration in areas such as research on cross-border food and drug legal issues, talent cultivation in international law, and the joint development of a practical case database.


Attorney Tang Jianbin introduced the center's mission and development direction, highlighting its focus on research and practice in the fields of food, pharmaceuticals, environment, and intellectual property, as well as its accumulated case studies and experience. He expressed a strong willingness to collaborate closely with the School of Law at Beijing Technology and Business University and the China Food Additives and Ingredients Association, combining the center's practical resources with the university's theoretical research and the association's industry insights.


After the meeting, accompanied by lawyer Tang Jianbin, the visiting guests toured the modern office environment of King&Capital Law Firm, gained an in-depth understanding of its development history, professional field divisions, and outstanding team building achievements, and took a group photo.
