On July 6, 2025, the 2025 Beijing Haidian District Young Lawyers Criminal Mock Trial Court Competition and Beijing Young Lawyers Criminal Mock Trial Court Competition for the Second Region Haidian Selection Competition ended perfectly. Lawyer Liang Yali, deputy director of the Criminal Law Committee of Beijing Lawyers Association, deputy director of the Criminal Practice Research Society of Chaoyang District Lawyers Association, senior partner of Beijing King&Capital Law Firm, and director of the King&Capital Criminal Defense Research Center, was invited to be a judge and injected professional energy into the event with her senior perspective.

The selection by 32 lawyers from 14 law firms in Haidian District, composed of 8 teams, respectively, in the role of prosecution and defense to carry out five fierce competition. The competition judges by 15 non-Haidian criminal defense business experts, a strong team lineup, from morning to night consistently, to ensure that the judges in the candidate, the number of people, the judging criteria on the “three unity”.
The organizing committee members of this event mainly came from Haidian District Lawyers Association. From the selection of cases to the coordination of teams, from the meeting arrangements to the guidance of the players, the organizing committee did a good job in organizing and safeguarding the work to ensure that the event was carried out in a professional, fair and orderly atmosphere, which was unanimously recognized by the contestants, the evaluation experts and the on-site audience.
In order to guarantee the fairness and impartiality of the event, the fourth supervisory committee of Haidian District Lawyers Association sent two supervisors to act as supervisors of the competition, observing the whole competition, scoring by judges, results and awards announced, etc., and providing witnesses and guidance on the fairness, standardization and rigor of the competition, and giving full play to the supervisory role.
Haidian district judicial bureau party group members, deputy director of Han Bing in his speech emphasized that young lawyers should correctly recognize their own business relationship with the public prosecutors and law enforcement agencies, although the position is different, but each belongs to the legal professional community, in the rule of law in the construction of the same goal. He pointed out that the young lawyers in haidian district should strengthen the professional construction, the mock court competition is to exercise the trial skills, familiar with the legal procedure, is the lawyer between haidian district, between lawyers across the district is a valuable learning and exchange opportunities, encourage the young lawyers to enhance the resilience, for the development of the practice of accumulating good and replicable experience.

Liang Yali, with her profound practicing experience, brought dry guidance to the contestants.
