On October 31, 2025, at the invitation of Yang Shuxing, Director of the Law Department of China Agricultural University, Wang Zhiqiang of Beijing King&Capital Law Firm carried out a lawyers' practice class titled “Confusion and Joy in Handling the Crime of Producing and Selling Poisonous and Harmful Foods” for the undergraduates of the Department of Law, and Wang Zhiqiang, combining with his own rich practical experience in criminal defense, explained the characteristics and rules of handling the food, drug, environment and intellectual property type of criminal cases. Combined with his rich experience in criminal defense practice, Mr. Wang Zhiqiang explained in depth the characteristics and laws of handling food, drug and environmental intellectual property criminal cases, and brought a feast of legal knowledge with both theoretical depth and practical value to the teachers and students present. The lecture was hosted by Director Yang Shuxing and attended by 21st and 22nd undergraduates.

At the beginning of the lecture, Mr. Wang Zhiqiang started with the establishment of the Environment, Food and Drugs and Intellectual Property Bureau by the Ministry of Public Security, introduced the current situation of the crackdown on this type of crime and judicial practice in China, and introduced the substantive, procedural and evidentiary issues that lawyers should pay attention to when dealing with this type of legal offenses. At the end of the lecture, three students of the Department of Law were “legal career planning, criminal lawyer practice legal risk prevention, legal offenders to handle the case methods and techniques” and other issues for in-depth discussion.

This lecture not only strengthened the students' understanding of the criminal justice practice case handling methods and techniques, but also broadened their academic horizons, and played a positive role in promoting a deeper understanding of the legal basis and practice of crimes related to the environment, food and medicine.
