On December 13, 2025, the Research Center for Criminal Law Sciences of Renmin University of China held the “Third Anniversary of Professor Wang Zuofu's Death and the Symposium on ‘Methods of Criminal Law Research - Theoretical Inheritance and Innovation’”. "More than a hundred scholars and practitioners jointly remembered the academic contributions and personality of Prof. Wang Zuofu. Qi Xiaoling, senior partner of King&Capital Law Firm, was invited to participate in the conference.

The conference combined commemorative activities with academic seminars, which was not only a deep remembrance of Prof. Wang Zuofu, but also an inheritance and development of his academic thoughts, promoting the research of various theories of criminal law to innovate in inheritance, and positively responding to the question of China and the question of the times.

Professor Wang Zuofu, as one of the main pioneers and founders of criminal law in new China, whose academic thoughts and educational theories have profoundly influenced the development of Chinese criminal law, passed away on December 15, 2022, at the age of 94 years old. Prof. Wang Zuofu's academic thought and in-depth research on various theories of criminal law are still of great significance in guiding the methodological innovation of today's criminal law theories.
