Recently, Attorney Qi Xiaoling, a senior partner at King&Capital Law Firm, was notified of her appointment as a hearing officer for the Fengtai District People's Procuratorate of Beijing Municipality. Her term will run from March 10, 2026, to March 9, 2029.
This appointment process was conducted in strict accordance with relevant regulations, including the Supreme People's Procuratorate's “Regulations on Hearing Procedures for Case Review by People's Procuratorates,” “Guiding Opinions on the Construction and Management of the Hearing Officer Pool for People's Procuratorates,” and the “Guidelines for Procuratorial Hearings in Beijing (Trial Implementation).” It involved multiple stages—including organizational registration, qualification review, organizational assessment, and public notice of proposed appointments—ensuring rigorous procedures and full transparency.
Attorney Qi Xiaoling stated that this appointment represents both trust and motivation. As a lawyer working on the front lines of case handling, she has witnessed the rigorous application of legal provisions and deeply understands the significance of building judicial credibility.
