Shi Yedong,Senior Associate of King&Capital Law Firm in Beijing,graduated from Columbia Law School in 2024 with an LL.M.degree and from the East China University of Political Science and Law in 2016 and 2019 with an LL.B.and an LL.M.degree.

- Represented a Chinese state-owned enterprise in an ICC arbitration arising out of a solar EPC dispute with a Latin American Owner,with the amount in dispute approximating RMB 500 million.
- Represented the overseas investment arm of a Chinese state-owned construction conglomerate in a USD 550 million dispute concerning a national-level hydropower project in a Belt and Road country in a SIAC arbitration.
- Represented clients in an SCC arbitration involving USD 50 million in disputes arising out of a joint venture agreement between a Canadian company and a Chinese state-owned enterprise.
- Represented clients in a SIAC arbitration involving USD 200 million in disputes arising out of a construction project between a Cambodian company and a Chinese company.
- Represented a major energy enterprise in a CIETAC arbitration arising out of a gas sales agreement with a large state-owned oil company,involving disputes over contractual price adjustment mechanisms,tariff deductions,and settlement arrangements for a long-term energy project.
- Represented clients in a CIETAC arbitration involving CNY 100 million in disputes arising out of a cooperation agreement.The case includes discovery under 28 U.S.C.§1782,and is the first case in the U.S.in which a court ordered discovery in support of a China-seated arbitration.
- Represented a state-owned enterprise in a CIETAC arbitration arising out of a dispute over the quality of mechanical equipment with a Spanish seller.
- Represented clients in a CIETAC arbitration involving CNY 100 million in disputes arising out of international sale of goods between a Chinese state-owned enterprise and a Swiss trading company.
- Represented a subsidiary of Samsung Group in a CIETAC arbitration involving RMB 50 million in disputes arising out of a gas supply agreement between the Korean company and a Chinese state-owned enterprise.
- Represented a prominent logistics company in a CIETAC arbitration involving RMB 120 million in disputes over instalment payment claims against a Kyrgyz company.
- Represented a leading domestic real estate group in a CIETAC arbitration involving RMB 500 million in disputes arising out of a property transaction with another leading real estate development company in China.
- Represented a well-known exhibition company in China in a CIETAC arbitration arising out of a management contract dispute with Shanghai International Exhibition Center Co.,Ltd.and other collaborators.
- Represented a biopharmaceutical company in a SHIAC arbitration arising out of an equipment procurement contract with a BVI company,involving issues of sham arrangements and the validity of the contract.
- Represented an overseas venture capital fund and others in a SHIAC arbitration arising out of a capital increase agreement dispute caused by a valuation adjustment mechanism(VAM)with Shanghai Muhe Network Technology Co.,Ltd.
- Represented a private equity fund manager in a SHIAC arbitration arising out of a partnership agreement dispute with its limited partners.
