Liang Yali is a Senior Partner at Beijing King&Capital Law Firm and Director of the King&Capital Criminal Defense Research Center. She holds academic and professional positions including Vice Dean of the Advanced Institute of Criminal Defense at Northwest University of Political Science and Law, Vice Dean of the Advanced Institute of Criminal Defense at Southwest University of Political Science and Law, and Standing Council Member of the Chinese Society of Criminal Law. She has also been appointed as a practical mentor for Master of Laws (LL.M.) students at several prestigious universities, including Peking University. With over 30 years of legal practice, Attorney Liang has specialized in core areas such as criminal defense and the intersection of criminal, civil, and administrative law, successfully handling a series of complex and high-profile cases with significant national impact. Among these, the nation’s largest bill fraud case, the nation’s largest case of irregular loan issuance, and the insurance industry’s first insider trading case have all become benchmark cases in the field. He has also handled cross-border gambling, money laundering, and “Helping and Believing” (a type of cybercrime) cases supervised by the Ministry of Public Security, as well as major liability accident cases placed under special supervision by the State Council.
