On Deember 2, 2009, representatives of the Beijing Lawyers Association welcomed a legal delegation from Frankfurt in Germany, and held a series of wide-ranging discussions on aspects of mutual interest.

Based on an agreement between the German Lawyers Association and the Beijing Lawyers Association, two delegations of nearly eighty lawyers will visit the Beijing Lawyers Association. Qu Lihong of our law firm gave a welcoming speech in which he explained the constitution, function and scope of the Banking Law Committee. The lawyers from Germany came mainly from legal firms, business enterprises and universities. They discussed marriage law, property inheritance law, the lawyers association, the role of employment lawyers, intellectual property rights protection, the operation of the banking industry, the effects of world economic development, and other matters with our lawyers. Qu Lihong discussed the fields of the protection of personal bankruptcy when financial institutions are involved and German investment reviews. This activity increased friendship between lawyers of China and Germany, and the development Chinese lawyers.
