On June 16, 2011, a Seminar entitled “The Market Economy and Democratic Construction” together with the release of a new book entitled “30 Years of Chinese Tycoons” was held at King and Capital. The seminar was sponsored by King and Capital and “China Entrepreneur” magazine. The seminar featured detailed and in-depth discussions on the issue of crimes committed by entrepreneurs.

 

The attendees included: Mao Yushi, a well-known economist and Director of the Unirule Institute of Economics; Li Shuguang, First Deputy Dean of the Graduate School of the Chinese University of Political Science and Law; Xia Yeliang, professor of School of Economics of Peking University; Ruan QiLin, professor of the Chinese University of Political Science and Law; Shan Min, associate professor of the National Procurators College; Li Min, Executive Editor of “China Entrepreneur” magazine; Du Liang, Deputy Executive Editor of “China Entrepreneur” magazine..

 

On the seminar, the experts focused on and deeply discussed the crimes of Chinese entrepreneurs from the economic and legal points of view, the social responsibility of entrepreneurs, the social status of entrepreneurs, the socio-legal environment, and market economic development processes to explore the root causes of crimes committed by Chinese entrepreneurs, and put forward practical suggestions on preventing entrepreneurs from committing crimes.
