Since beginning legal practice, Wang Zhong has accumulated extensive practical experience in mergers and acquisitions, real estate, banking and insurance. He has expertise in M&A, and acts as independent director or supervisor for a number of leading companies. His advice is much sought-after by financial and investment companies and organisations.
Wang took part in the GATT (now WTO) senior lawyer and senior notary training held by the Chinese Ministry of Justice in 1993. He qualified as independent director through certification training held by the China Securities Regulatory Commission and Fudan University in 2002. He participated in the Central Party School Senior Seminar in 2006, the Advanced Venture Capital training of Shanghai Jiaotong University in 2008-2009, and the advanced international financial investment training of Shanghai Jiaotong University in 2010-2011, and participated in the study of civil and Commercial Law in New York University Law School in 2018, the exchange and training of legal talents between Hong Kong and Shanghai of The Hong Kong Institute of Finance and Management in 2018.
Mr. Wang is a partner of Beijing King and Capital and the director of our Shanghai Office. He is a member of the Chinese Law Society commissioner of the Criminal Law Committee of the ACLA (All-China Lawyers Association) and a member of the Shanghai Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce. He acts as independent director or supervisor of numerous famous companies.
