Mr. Zhang has been practicing law over fifteen years in China. Mr. Zhang has abundant experiences in the areas of corporation legal matters, commercial litigations, commercial bribery prevention, official corruption and misconduct defense, criminal defense in international trade area, white-collar crimes and corporate compliance.
Mr. Zhang has been retained as perennial legal consul for dozens of famous American, European, Taiwan and mainland corporations, and worked for a Global Fortune 500 American company as Legal Director.
Mr. Zhang holds Master of Law degree from Northwestern University (US) and the professional title of China "International Business Specialist", China Securities Qualification (Securities Association of China) and passed China National Exams of Fund Management Qualification (Asset Management Association of China).
Mr. Zhang is the member of China National Bar Association and Committee Member of Legal Compliance Section of Shanghai Bar Association, and was the Committee Member of International Trade Section of Shanghai Bar Association and Deputy Director of Criminal Justice Section of Shanghai Bar Association.
Mr. Zhang was the coach for prestigious law school team at National & Shanghai moot court competitions
Mr. Zhang published the article of Analysis on the Examination Methods Employed by the Prosecutors of Bo Xilai Case. Mr. Zhang is the co-author of the book of “Advanced Legal Practices in Criminal Defense” (2020) published by the prestigious Law Press of China which won the Third Prize in the Third Session of Shanghai Lawyers Academic Competition.
- Successfully represented one of the globally largest agricultural chemical companies to deal with employee embezzlement (criminal) case which was highly regarded by the client
- Defended for government official and state owed company manager in severe bribery cases
- Successfully represented one of the globally largest software companies to strike down computer software infringement and the offender was convicted
- Successfully handled product quality cases for defendant client involving victim death and state level media exposure. In the series cases the client was not held responsible for any legal liabilities
- Successfully led the trans-regional legal teams including national top tier law firm to handle major public relations crisis
- Successfully represented globally largest construction related equipment company as defendant in product quality multi party case. The plaintiff dropped the case against the client.

- Successfully defended a controversial and complicated commercial crime involving large amount of money, within which dozens of millions was excluded from proceeds of crime.
