On the morning of June 17, 2022, the seminar on the topic of "Research on the Revised Content of Trust Law", a special research topic of the trust industry in 2022 of the China Association of the Trust Industry led by King&Capital Law Firm, was successfully held in the form of online meeting.

Li Wenhua, Associate Professor and Director of the Department of Civil, Commercial and Economic Law of the School of Law of Beijing Jiaotong University, delivered a keynote speech, introducing the experience of introducing and transforming trust law in civil law countries and regions.

Mr. Zhou Xiaoming, expert director of China Trust Industry Association, member of Professional Committee of Industry Development and Research, and instructor of the subject group, gave guidance on the research framework, research content and time nodes of the subject.

Lachen Qiuming, Secretary of the Party Committee and Full-time Vice President (Executive) of China Trust Industry Association, pointed out in the summary of the meeting that the research on the subject should raise the political status, reflect the new stage of development, adhere to the new development concept, serve the new development pattern, and at the same time do a good job of publicity and leading work, and the theoretical and jurisprudential foundations should be in place to lay the foundation for the subsequent incorporation into the plan of law revision of the National People's Congress.
In the next step, King&Capital and other participating units will further improve the research framework of the subject according to the experts' opinions, strengthen the communication and exchange with the regulatory authorities, based on the actual situation in China, fully absorbing the practical experience of trusts and referring to the overseas trust legislation experience, so as to complete the research work of the subject with high quality.
