Dalian Arbitration Commission (DAC) was established on August 28, 1996, and is the only arbitration institution in Dalian to resolve civil and commercial disputes. Dalian Arbitration Commission, currently accepts more than 1,000 cases per year, the subject matter of nearly 10 billion yuan development scale. Combined with the characteristics and current situation of arbitration work, it has put forward six case management measures, namely, "standardizing the case handling process, perfecting the case examination and signing, implementing process tracking, conducting return visits, carrying out quality assessment and strict accountability", to seek credibility and development by quality, and to comprehensively strengthen the management, which effectively ensures the quality of the arbitration cases, and the mediation and settlement rate of the cases reaches over 70%. The Dalian Arbitration Commission launched the ISO9000 quality management system in 2008, put forward the eight-word quality policy of "fairness, reasonableness, efficiency and integrity", and passed the ISO9000 quality management system certification audit in successive years.
