King&Capital and DSC provide legal services for all offshore drilling platforms held by DSC.

The cooperation agreement between the two parties stipulates that King&Capital, led by partner Wang Xin Tong, will form a service team to provide professional legal consulting services for DMS Offshore & Marine in respect of import and export customs issues involved in the process of disposal of all offshore drilling platforms held by DMS Offshore & Marine.

DSC Seawork is one of the offshore engineering construction companies with the longest construction history, the richest experience and the largest number of completed products in China, one of the representatives of the state-owned shipbuilding enterprises with the highest level of the national offshore equipment manufacturing industry, and one of the largest and most internationally competitive modernized ship assembly enterprises in China. DSC Offshore & Marine used to be the company in charge of offshore engineering under DSC Heavy Industry, and it has realized rapid development by making full use of the technology and resources of its parent company DSC Heavy Industry, and it was the predecessor company of DSC Offshore & Marine that delivered China's first offshore oil rig in 1971, and China's first high-end 400-foot jack-up offshore oil rig was delivered by DSC Offshore & Marine in 2006, which was the first one made in China. In addition, China's first high-end 400-foot jack-up offshore oil drilling rig was also delivered by Daship Offshore & Marine in 2006, the first one made in China. The enterprise is in the absolute leading position in the field of jack-up drilling platforms in China.

The cooperation has achieved stage-by-stage results and successfully assisted Dashery Seawork in completing the first disposal.

After the signing of the agreement, the service team actively carried out the relevant work, and has now achieved milestones in the first offshore engineering platform disposal project, successfully assisting DMS Seawork to complete the disposal of jack-up drilling platforms for the first time by using the customs special supervisory area, which solved the problem of traditional offshore engineering platform construction enterprises that have been caught in a difficult situation in recent years in terms of disposal of offshore engineering platforms, and laid a solid foundation for the subsequent development of the disposal project of the offshore engineering platform of DMS Seawork. This has laid a solid foundation for the subsequent disposal projects of offshore platforms of DMS.

As far as China's offshore platform construction industry is concerned, since most offshore platforms are constructed for the needs of foreigners, and such ultra-large equipment usually needs to be customized according to different sea areas and usage characteristics, they are usually constructed by way of processing trade according to the industry practice, and the disposal of the relevant platforms is faced with a lot of complicated customs issues, the enterprises, in the cross-border disposal of the offshore platforms, on the one hand, should do a good job of customs planning, and on the other hand, should make adequate customs planning for the disposal of the platforms for the subsequent large vessels.
