On December 16, 2023, Beijing King&Capital Law Firm hosted the "Annual Criminal and Bankruptcy Crossover Seminar" jointly prepared by the Bankruptcy Liquidation and M&A and Restructuring Research Committee of Beijing Chaoyang District Lawyers' Association and the Criminal Committee of Beijing Chaoyang District Lawyers' Association, in which the cross-border issues between criminal and bankruptcy and liquidation were exchanged and discussed.

Zhao Chunyu, Director of Criminal Practice Research Association, made an opening speech at the beginning of the meeting, first of all, she thanked King&Capital for hosting this cross-border seminar, and also thanked all the colleagues for attending the meeting. Sun Yanhui, Director of the Insolvency Liquidation and Mergers and Acquisitions Reorganization Research Association of Beijing Chaoyang District Lawyers' Association, delivered a speech and released the White Paper. Sun Yanhui said, bankruptcy research will be established at the beginning of the "white paper" program, its content is based on this year's legal and social hotspot national policy "to ensure the delivery of the building program" to design. The White Paper is the result of the efforts of all the members of the Insolvency Institute and they hope to share the research results with the guests.

Finally, Mr. Xiao Shuwei, Deputy Supervisor of Beijing Chaoyang District Lawyers' Association, made a speech to summarize the activity. He said that this seminar was very fruitful, and with his own experience of cross-border cooperation, he talked about how cross-discipline lawyer cooperation can improve the bargaining and success rate of lawyer services, and that criminal-civilian cross-cooperation has necessity and practical significance. He said he hoped that there would be more opportunities to organize such exchange activities in the future.
