On January 4, 2024, attorney Chen Deling was invited by a magazine to conduct a one-day training on advertising law compliance for the magazine's editorial, marketing and auditing staff. The magazine is a centralized publication under the supervision of the National Tourism Administration and sponsored by the China Tourism Association.
Mr. Chen Deling gave a detailed explanation on four aspects, including the history of advertising development, advertising content compliance, advertising regulation and punishment, and advertising auditing practice. Among them, she focused on the rights and obligations of each subject of advertisement in accordance with the law, such as the advertisement content should adhere to the correct value and content orientation, the scope of the use of absolute terms in advertisements, the identification of false advertisements, as well as the approval requirements for the release of advertisements of special categories.

Participants said that through this advertising law training, they have fully grasped the requirements of the advertising law, and enhanced their awareness of the rule of law in the future in terms of advertisement acceptance, advertisement review and advertisement release compliance, and will avoid advertisement contents that are not in line with the advertising law.
