Recently, Cangzhou City Lawyers Association of Hebei Province invited Mr. Wang Xinlong, a member of the Advanced Training Course for Foreign Lawyer Talents of the Ministry of Justice and a partner of King&Capital Law Firm, to the training course for outstanding young lawyers in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, and Mr. Wang gave a lecture on the theme of “Ten Techniques of Court Questioning”, which was widely praised. The training course was guided by Hebei Provincial Lawyers Association, hosted by Cangzhou Lawyers Association and organized by Cangzhou Youth Work Committee, and thousands of lawyers participated in the training in online and offline forms.
This training, Wang first around the “lawyer questioning” as the theme, combined with the actual experience of the training students, for the necessity of lawyers questioning and the manifestation of the in-depth analysis, and then focus on the common mistakes of novice lawyers in the trial --- induced questioning, through the cooperation with the court, the lawyer will be able to get a better understanding of the lawyer's questioning. Then, focusing on the common mistakes made by novice lawyers in court hearings - induced questioning, he clarified the ways to avoid induced questioning by interacting with the trainees on the stage.
After the initial explanation of the lawyer's questioning, Mr. Wang combined with his own case experience and learning experience, summarized the lawyer's questioning of the top ten skills, including facing weaknesses, a matter of one question, simple words, knowingly, active listening, three steps to control the scene, cut off the retreat, avoiding arguments, appropriate stop, the first and last correspond to each skill, combined with the examples of the court trial, and a detailed explanation. These ten techniques, from the preparation of defense strategy before the trial, to the flexible control of the court according to the changes in the trial, to how to end the trial questioning smoothly, gave the participating lawyers a great help, and a clearer understanding of the importance of questioning in the trial and the extent to which it should be reached.
After the training, Mr. Wang had an in-depth communication with the lawyers who participated in the training.
