They revealed the importance of IPR in Brazil through a legal perspective and explained in detail how to formulate and implement an effective and diversified IPR protection strategy.

Ms. Wang Ruiqi from Beijing King&Capital Law Firm shared her views on the topic of “Comparison of Brazilian Trademark Laws and Chinese Trademark Laws”. She analyzed the trademark use and infringement problems faced by overseas companies in the context of digital competition, and emphasized the need for legal practitioners to constantly accept new challenges in order to solve new and difficult cases. In addition, she detailed the main differences and similarities between the two countries in terms of the trademark application process, opposition procedures and protection of trademark rights, and put forward practical suggestions that companies should layout their trademarks in advance, preserve evidence of use, and carry out the identification of high-profile trademarks. These contents help enterprises better understand and respond to the trademark legal environment in Brazil and enhance their competitiveness in the international market.
