Zhang Libin, Partner-in-Charge of the Foreign Law Department of King&Capital Law Firm, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin College of Law, received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, and was systematically educated in English and American common law, and is licensed to practice law in New York State and China. Mr. Zhang has been practicing law since 1997 and has more than twenty years of legal work experience in international law firms and multinational corporations. He specializes in cross-border investment and mergers and acquisitions, foreign-related dispute resolution, and compliance, and has assisted a number of Chinese companies in investing in overseas projects (e.g., Xinjiang Guanghui's investment in Kazakhstan's oil and gas project, Shenneng Group's investment in Indonesia's oil and gas project, Jingneng Group's investment in Ukraine's wind power project, and Neo Group's investment in the Freeport project, etc.). ). In recent years, Mr. Zhang has led a team to assist Chinese companies in investing in energy projects in Southeast Asia, Africa and the Middle East, as well as assisting Chinese companies in negotiating LNG LTAs and conducting due diligence on upstream facilities. He is also currently teaching a course on international commercial arbitration at the China University of Political Science and Law.
