Business Law Firm Excellence Awards
The Business Law Firm Excellence Awards recognize the most outstanding Chinese and international law firms in each practice area each year. The selection process is based on recommendations and evaluations provided by Chinese and foreign corporate counsel, executives, and law firms in the Chinese market, and combines a number of factors (including significant transactions, cases, and other outstanding achievements) to create the final list of winners.
In 2024, The Business Lawyer Excellence Awards will continue to be organized into three categories: General, Practice Area and Industry.
Considering the rising demand for environmental, social and governance (ESG) compliance among Chinese companies and the accelerated alignment of regulatory frameworks with international standards, we have added an “ESG” category to the practice area awards; and seeing that the education and training industry is experiencing stringent regulation and the overall demand for legal services has weakened, we have decided to add an “Industry” category to this year's industry awards. We have decided to temporarily remove the “Education” category from this year's industry awards.
