Thirty Chapters and Continuing Splendour | 2025 King&Capital Law Firm Annual Meeting Ceremony Successfully Held

On 15th January, the 2025 Kyoto Law Firm Annual Meeting Ceremony was successfully held in Beijing Millennium Hotel. The event invited experts and professors from various industries, and hundreds of lawyers from the headquarter of King&Capital Law Firm, as well as Dalian, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Zhengzhou, Chongqing and Haikou branches gathered together to witness the 30-year development history of King&Capital Law Firm, and to review the brilliant achievements created by Kyoto colleagues in the year 2024.

Annual Meeting Speech

King&Capital Law Firm Honorary Director Tian Wenchang, Director Zhu Yonghui, Secretary of the Party Committee Xiao Shuwei, Managing Partner, CEO Chu Changzhi delivered speeches. The annual meeting was co-chaired by Ma Huiwen, Lin Lin, Hu Rui and Zheng Xian.

In his speech, Honorary Director Tian Wenchang briefly introduced the overall revenue generation and per capita revenue generation of King&Capital in 2024, announcing that King&Capital still maintains the momentum of continuous growth. However, he also referred to the external macro-environment of the economic downturn and the industry's implosion, stating, ‘Reality is something we can't ignore, and we have to face it head on.’ ‘Getting out of the rut is not without possibilities, and my understanding is twofold: hard work plus wisdom.’

He said that in 2025, King&Capital will develop rationally and move forward steadily by deepening the management mechanism, strengthening the development of public case sources, giving full play to teamwork, and exploring new areas of lawyers' business. In the new year, he hopes that all the colleagues of King&Capital Law Firm will build up their self-confidence and break the predicament through continuous efforts to achieve better results.

‘Today is a good day for our King&Capital firm's 30 years!’ Director Zhu Yonghui outlined his speech with four thanks. He said that as King&Capital Law Firm has gone through 30 years, firstly, we have to thank the older generation of King&Capital for founding King&Capital, secondly, we have to thank the old friends of King&Capital for their full support, thirdly, we have to thank the old and new clients who have trusted King&Capital, and lastly, we have to thank each and every King&Capital people themselves who have paid for King&Capital. ‘I hope that each of us love each other as much as we love our own relatives and family members, and I look forward to the next glorious 30 years of King&Capital together under the joint efforts of all of us!’

On behalf of the Party Committee of King&Capital, Mr Xiao Shuwei, Secretary of the Party Committee, firstly expressed his heartfelt thanks to all the comrades who cared and supported the work of the Party Committee. He said that in 2024, King&Capital has been pioneering in party building work, actively exploring and making certain achievements, and the party members represented by Mr Tian gave full play to their exemplary role as party members and made important contributions to the business development of the firm and the public welfare work of legal aid.

‘2024 is a year of both opportunities and challenges, we face our clients with professionalism, face difficulties with diligence, rise to the challenge, challenge ourselves, busy and happy.’ Chu Changzhi, Managing Partner and CEO of King&Capital Law Firm, summed up the overall work in 2024, and he mainly reviewed the fulfilment of social responsibility, the development of the firm's brand, the professionalisation initiatives, the award-winning business integration, and the international business expansion. Looking ahead to 2025, he hopes that King&Capital people will unite as one, continue to innovate, and move forward on the path of exploring a society governed by the rule of law.
