Mr. Jin Yi of Beijing King&Capital Law Firm was invited to deliver a keynote speech on the topic of “Anti-Monopoly Path for the Protection of SMEs' Rights and Interests--Practical Exploration of Collaboration Between Lawyers and Industry Associations”, and explored the hotspots of competition law practice with colleagues in the industry.

With the core theme of “Promoting Fair Competition and Helping to Unify the Big Market - the Responsibility and Mission of Competition Lawyers”, the conference gathered more than 150 legal professionals from all over the country, including members of the relevant professional committees of the National Lawyers Association, heads of provincial and municipal lawyers associations, and lawyers practicing in Sichuan and Chongqing. The conference brought together more than 150 legal professionals from across China, including members of the relevant professional committees of the National Lawyers Association, provincial and municipal lawyers associations, lawyers practicing in Sichuan and Chongqing, as well as relevant law enforcement officials of the State Administration for Market Supervision and Administration, experts and scholars. The conference centered on the revision of the Anti-Unfair Competition Law, hotspots of network unfair competition, anti-monopoly practice in the construction of the national unified market and fair competition review and other key topics, and set up a professional exchange platform through thematic seminars and practical exchanges to help improve the overall service capacity of the industry.

In the theme exchange session, Mr. Jin Yi combined his practical experience in the field of competition law and pointed out the core pain points of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in anti-monopoly rights defense: they are structurally disadvantaged in the industrial chain, and in the face of monopoly behavior, they are caught in the predicament of “not daring to sue, not being able to sue, and not being able to afford to sue”, and there are the real problems of difficulty in obtaining evidence, weakness in voice, and high cost of defending their rights. Enterprises are difficult to independently traverse the “triple door” of rights protection. For this status quo, he puts forward “lawyer + industry association” collaborative rights protection solution, and combined with typical case review.

In his speech, Mr. Jin Yi also analyzed the triple legal identities of “operator”, “monopoly organizer” and “compliance organizer” of the association and the corresponding direction of lawyer services, and explained the direction of the lawyers' services. The corresponding service direction of lawyers, and disassembled the four major collaborative practice scenarios between lawyers and trade associations.

As a professional lawyer who has been deeply engaged in the field of anti-monopoly and anti-unfair competition for a long time, Mr. Jin Yi has always been committed to providing high-quality and efficient anti-monopoly and anti-unfair competition legal services for all kinds of market entities.
