Attorney Jin Yi is the head of King&Capital’s antitrust practice. Jin Yi is the Managing Partner of the Antitrust Department at King&Capital Law Firm. Attorney Jin Yi specializes in antitrust, unfair competition, and intellectual property matters, representing clients in cases involving antitrust litigation, investigations, merger filings, and corporate compliance. As early as 2008, before the Anti-Monopoly Law took effect, Attorney Jin Yi had already begun handling foreign investment merger filings with the Ministry of Commerce and the State Administration for Industry and Commerce in accordance with the “Provisions on Mergers and Acquisitions of Domestic Enterprises by Foreign Investors.” To date, he has handled nearly 200 business concentration filings, the majority of which involved transactions by well-known multinational corporations across various industries, including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, maritime transport, energy, automotive, food, publishing, media, education, and sports. Attorney Jin Yi also represented Beijing Qihoo Technology Co., Ltd. in its case against Tencent Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Tencent Computer Systems Co., Ltd. regarding the abuse of a dominant market position, which was heard by the Supreme People’s Court. This case was selected as a Supreme People’s Court guidance case in 2017. From 2021 to 2026, Attorney Jin Yi was listed as a recommended lawyer in the “Competition and Antitrust” practice area by Chambers for six consecutive years. From 2022 to 2024, he was consecutively listed as a recommended lawyer in the “Competition Law and Antitrust” category by *The Legal 500*.
