In February 2012, King and Capital completed the restructuring of China Huawen Investment Holdings Co. Ltd for the People’s Daily. The reconstruction involved the resolution of the interests of multiple parties, complex legal relationships and legal arrangements of different kinds including equity restructuring, credit and debt disposal, and asset acquisition.

The transaction, which has taken several years to complete, has now completed all relevant legal procedures. King and Capital was retained by the People’s Daily and organized a team under the leadership of Chang Junfeng, Partner of King and Capital.
