On November 15th, 2012, a delegation from the Ministry of Justice of Finland visited King and Capital Law Firm.
During the period from November 12th to 17th 2012, when “The 6th Round Seminar of Judicial Cooperation between China and Finland” is jointly held by the Ministry of Justice of China and the Ministry of Justice of Finland in Beijing, the delegation from Finland hoped to learn about the management structure in law firms in China. Considering the important role played by lawyers of China in the development of the economy and society and to broaden and strengthen friendly and practical cooperation in the field of judicial cooperation between China and Finland, the Ministry of Justice of China asked the All China Lawyers Association to arrange a visit to a law firm above medium size with standard management. The All China Lawyers Association finally decided to arrange for the delegation from the Ministry of Justice of Finland to visit King and Capital Law Firm.
Mr. Tian wenchang, the Director of King and Capital Law Firm introduced the firm and the traditions of Chinese law to the friends from Finland and the representatives of King and Capital Law Firm conversed with the delegation about the systems of lawyers in China and Finland.
Mr. Edward Huang, a Partner from King and Capital Law Firm showed the delegation from Finland around the King and Capital office.
The members of the delegation of Finland included the Director of Judicial Administrative Department of Finland, the President of the Appeal Court of Kouvola, Finland, Senior Consultant of the Ministry of Justice of Finland, Director of the Penalty Execution Department Planning Office of Ministry of Justice of Finland, the Warden of the prison in Laukaa, Finland and lawyers from Finland.
The Director of King and Capital Law Firm, Mr. Tian wenchang, Partner Cao shuchang, Guo qing, Han liang and the Managing Partner Wang qingyun participated in the visit.
