On September 9, 2017, “Criminal Defense Forum of King & Capital” was jointly held by King & Capital and Qingdao Lawyers Association in Qingdao city, Shandong Province. More than 300 criminal defense lawyers attended the Forum from around the country.

During the Forum, Mr. Yang Zhaodong, senior partner of King & Capital, managing partner of the firm’s criminal defense department, gave a lecture on "Strategies and Techniques for Defending Illegal Fund-raising Cases"; Ms. Men Jinling, associate professor of China Youth University of Political Science, tutor of graduate students, shared her experiences under the topic of "Techniques of Illegal Evidence Exclusion"; Ms. Liang Yali, senior partner of King & Capital, talked about "Effective Defense Strategy for Lawyers"; Mr. Jin Jie, senior partner of King & Capital, who used to work as a senior judge as well as a senior prosecutor prior to his career of lawyer, made a speech on "Art of Communication to Avoid Conflicts with Court."
