Zhang Libin

Liping Zhang, Senior Partner of King&Capital Law Firm, holds a J.D. degree from the University of Texas and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of International Business and Economics, and is licensed to practice in China and the U.S. Liping has been practicing in the field of foreign dispute resolution for more than 30 years, and has an international outlook and local wisdom. Mr. Zhang was an attorney at Paul, Weiss Law Firm in New York, a partner at Baker Botts Beijing Representative Office, the Chief Legal Affairs of Siemens Asia M&A and the General Counsel of Xin'ao Group, and after joining King&Capital Law Firm in 2022, he has continued to promote the specialization and internationalization of foreign-related legal services. Mr. Zhang Libin has long been focusing on cross-border investment and international commercial arbitration in the energy sector. He has served as an arbitrator for a number of arbitration institutions, such as DTZ, HKIAC, and Beijung, etc., and has repeatedly heard major energy and engineering disputes as presiding arbitrator, and has authored and reviewed Beijung's annual Energy Dispute Resolution Observations. He also serves as the Convenor of the Energy Arbitrators Panel of DTCC and the Director of the Energy and Engineering Experts Committee of Dalian International Arbitration Court, and is widely influential in the industry. Jin Yi

Mr. Jin Yi is the partner-in-charge of the Antitrust Department of King&Capital Law Firm. Mr. Jin specializes in anti-monopoly, anti-unfair competition and intellectual property rights, and has represented clients in anti-monopoly litigations, investigations, declaration of operator concentration and corporate compliance. Before the Anti-Monopoly Law came into effect in 2008, Mr. Jin had already started to cooperate with the Ministry of Commerce and the State Administration for Industry and Commerce to handle foreign investment mergers and acquisitions in accordance with the “Provisions on the Mergers and Acquisitions of Domestic Enterprises by Foreign Investors”, and so far, he has handled nearly 200 cases of declaration of concentration of operators, most of which are the transactions of well-known multinational enterprises involving various industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemical industry, shipping, energy, automobiles, foodstuffs, publishing, media, education, sports and so on.
