Guest Speeches

Tian Wenchang, Founder and Honorary Director of King&Capital Law Firm
Tian Wenchang, Honorary Director of King&Capital Law Firm and founder of the Civil and Commercial Litigation Research Center, pointed out that the legal industry currently lacks formal training in civil and commercial litigation skills, with most lawyers operating in a “feeling their way forward” state. Drawing on the successful experience of the “participatory training model” in criminal defense training, he expressed his hope that the Civil and Commercial Litigation Research Center would adapt this approach to the field of civil and commercial litigation. By integrating the unique characteristics of civil and commercial litigation, he aims to develop a proprietary King&Capital Law Firm training model and curriculum. This initiative is intended not only to enhance the capabilities of the firm’s internal lawyers but also to offer external training programs, thereby leading the trend in China’s civil and commercial litigation training and establishing the firm as a standout leader in this field.

Zhu Yonghui, Director of King&Capital Law Firm
Zhu Yonghui, Director of King&Capital Law Firm, emphasized that civil and commercial litigation is a traditional strength of King&Capital Law Firm and a key pillar for realizing the firm’s “century-long vision” and comprehensive development. This conference marked the first time representatives of civil and commercial litigation lawyers from all departments of the main office and all branch offices gathered for a meeting, serving as a promising start for “cross-departmental collaboration and coordination between the main and branch offices” among King&Capital Law Firm’s civil and commercial litigation lawyers. He stated that the Civil and Commercial Litigation Research Center should strengthen the integration and sharing of resources across the main and branch offices, achieving comprehensive coordination in professional training, market expansion, and exchange and cooperation. This will break the pattern of working in isolation, build a “Greater King&Capital Law Firm” platform, and achieve win-win development.
